Isaac .k. Arthur
Isaac Arthur is an astute Professional, Business leader and a highly motivated Manager with fourteen (14) years’ experience in banking.
His skills set are in the Area of Treasury management, Trade Finance, Investment analysis and Portfolio Management, Bank Operations Management, Branch Development, Operational processes and procedures, Credit administration and Capacity Building, Budgeting & Budgetary Control among others.
Isaac worked with Adehyeman Savings and Loans from 2007 to 2013, rising through the ranks to become the Head of Operations responsible for all the branches in the country. In April 2013 he joined Global Access Savings & Loans as the Head of Operations in charge of Head office operations and all the branches of the company. A position he held until he joined Equity Savings & Loans.
He joined Equity Savings & Loans as the Chief Operating Officer in August 2016, until his appointment as the Managing Director in 2018 to date.
He is a chartered Banker and a member, Association of Chartered Institute of Bankers (ACIB), He also holds an MBA in Banking & Finance from Cape Coast University and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from the University of Ghana-Legon. He has attended several courses in Banking, Management and Leadership.
Mr. Arthur, also served on the board of Ghana Association of Savings and Loans Companies (GHASALC) from 2010 to 2020.
Khalid Abdul Bassid is an astute professional in Credit Finance with over 8 years’ experience in SME Credit Administration. He possesses an exceptional acumen in Credit Analysis, Administration and Implementation, credit management and recovery among others.
Mr. Abdul Bassid, through hard work rose through the ranks to become the Acting Head of Credit at Global Access Savings and Loans Limited. Among the positions he held were SME Relationship Manager, Portfolio Quality Manager, Unit Head- Auto Loan, and Credit Officer all in Global Access Savings and Loans Company Limited. Again he also worked with Agricultural Development Bank (ADB) as a Credit Officer.
Khalid holds an MBA as well as a Postgraduate Diploma in Business Administration from Wuhan University of Technology Management School (China). Also, He holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration (Banking and Finance Option) from the University of Ghana Business School
Francis is a Chartered Accountant and a professional with experience in handling complex financial tasks.
He worked with AD & Associates (Chartered Accountants) where he handled challenging roles in Auditing, Accounting and rose through the ranks to become a senior Auditor in charge of an audit team, a key unit within the company.
In his current role as the Finance Manager of Equity Savings and Loans, he is relied upon to manage the finances and convey essential financial reports to all levels of management and external stakeholders; the Bank of Ghana, Auditors, banks and clients. He has practical experience and very proficient with Advanced Excel and modelling. Francis has attended several courses and possesses strong communication and team leadership dynamic skills.
He is a member of Institute of Chartered Accountants (ICA) and holds BSC Accounting from University of Professional Studies (UPS)
Comfort Abena Darko
Abena is the Head, Corporate Banking of Equity Savings and Loans limited and has primary responsibility for Investment Management, Marketing Strategies, Customer Service, Financial Advisory Services and Deposit Mobilisation for the entire bank.
Before joining Equity Abena had a long stint at Beige Capital Savings and Loans Company Limited where she played a major role as Team lead Corporate Banking. There, her mobilization of deposits, skills and Professionalism made her to become the Most Transformed Talent, Functional Team Member 2015. She was also promoted to become a Branch Manager. Before then, she spent years as Area Account Manager at Coca Cola Bottling Company of Ghana. There, she managed high net worth distributors of Coco Cola Bottling Company of Ghana.
Abena holds an EMBA – Marketing from the University of Ghana Business School- Legon, and a BA (Hons) in Philosophy and Study of Religions from the University of Ghana- Legon.
Mercy Adzo Gatsi
Mercy is a professional with vast experience in the area of accounting, loans administration, branch management, risk and compliance management and Anti Money Laundering reporting. Her experiences in these areas spans over more than a decade.
She started her carrier with CHRISMACS, a Christian women organization which seek to reduce poverty among women through savings and loan scheme. While with CHRISMASCS, she became the best Credit Officer to have over 600 loan clients without any delinquent loans. She moved on to join GAFCO and then Procredit Savings and loans later in July 2006 where she rose through the ranks to become a team leader for credit administration and had the opportunity to train in Mozambique.
She later joined Adehyeman Savings and Loans Limited in April 2009, and served for 9 years in various positions such as Credit Officer, Credit Supervisor and Branch Manager and later as the Risk and Compliance Manager with the added responsibility of Anti-Money Laundering reporting. She joined Equity Savings and Loans Limited in April 2018
Mercy holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Cape Coast. She also received a Higher National Diploma (HND) in Accountancy from the Ho Polytechnic.
She is currently a student Member of the Chartered Institute of Bankers (GH), and a Senior Member of the Institute of Loans and Risk Management, Ghana.
